As a scholar practitioner within Academic Advising I focus on building programs that support student success within the Natural Sciences, with an emphasis on employing assessment to improve student learning. My goal is to create an environment that is welcoming for all students and supports their many diverse learning needs. In addition, I am the PI on a the NSF-funded DNA-Based Discoveries in Hawai‘i’s Biodiversity REU program, which occurs at UH Mānoa each summer for 10 weeks.
