Ka Huli Ao faculty Melody MacKenzie and Avis Poai proudly serve as faculty advisors for the Asian-Pacific Law & Policy Journal (APLPJ). APLPJ is a “web-based, American legal journal covering issues in Asia and the Pacific Rim.” APLPJ strives to “disseminate legal research by law professors, legal practitioners, social scientists, economists, and students; to increase awareness of legal issues impacting the region; and to provide a forum to discuss legal topics that fall within the Journal’s geographic scope.”
On August 27, 2017 Faculty Advisors Mark Levin and Avis Poai ʻ04 joined the APLPJ Executive Board to train 16 incoming staff editors and welcome back 5 returning senior editors. This upcoming year, APLPJ will be preparing for Volume 19 to be released in December 2017, and a Spring Symposium in 2018. We wish everyone the best of luck this year!
