Teaching Experience
As a graduate student, I taught beginning Latin and intensive ancient Greek. Then for 25 years I taught Classics courses at a small liberal arts college in Michigan. Most of my teaching time was spent in Greek and Latin courses at all levels. After retiring, I moved to Oahu, and have been teaching Latin, and Greek and Roman literature in translation, at UH Manoa since 2020.
Interests
My current interests include: ancient Greek and Latin pedagogy; translation; textual criticism; Plato and Greek philosophy; very early Christianity
