Buddhist Studies Scholarship
This scholarship supports students in the Department of Religions and Ancient Civilizations at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa who are studying any form of Buddhism.

Hawaii Buddhist Council
This fund supports the study of Buddhism at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Chung-Hwa Buddhist Student Aid
This scholarship supports students in the Department of Religions and Ancient Civilizations at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa who are studying any form of Buddhism.

Religion Department Enrichment
Thanks to the generous support from Mr. Paul Ingelman, this fund supports University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Religion lectures.

Henry Gengo & Riu Wakai Memorial Scholarship
This privately endowed scholarship was established by the Wakai family to honor and provide a lasting tribute to Reverend Henry Gengo and Riu Wakai.  The scholarship supports undergraduate- and graduate-level study of religion with preference given to students from Hawai’i.

Numata Visiting Chair in Buddhism
Thanks to the generous support from the Numata Foundation (also known as Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai or Society for the Promotion of Buddhism) the Department of Religions and Ancient Civilizations regularly invites scholars to teach and conduct research in Buddhism-related topics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa for a semester.

Milander H Buddhist Study
This fund supports programs jointly approved by the University of Hawai’i Buddhist Studies Program and the Buddhist Study Center of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawai’i.

Kuan Yin Temple Scholarship
This scholarship support for graduate students in the Department of Religions and Ancient Civilizations at the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa who are studying any form of Buddhism, Taoism, or Confucianism. Preference shall be given to students studying and or researching Chinese Buddhism. Funds shall be used for costs associated with attendance (i.e. tuition, books, fees, research supplies, etc.).

Religion Symposium
This fund from multiple sponsors supports academic conferences or symposia organized by the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa Department of Religions and Ancient Civilizations.

Uberoi Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship from the Uberoi Foundation supports graduate study in the dharma traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikkhism).

Berry Lecture Fund
This fund supports scholarly research in Christianity broadly conceived, including visiting scholars and conferences.
