Study Space Feature: Carrels (Individual Table)
1st Floor – Main Building – Bridge Area
This study area is located near Hamilton Library’s 1st Floor bridge that connects the Main Building to the Addition. There is collaborative study space and comfortable seating.
1st Floor – Main Building – Harry C. and Nee-Chang Wong Audiovisual Center
This area is located near Hamilton Library’s 1st Floor lobby. It includes equipment for viewing the audiovisual and microfilm collections. The Music Department’s Ethnomusicology Program maintains the display cases located in this space with rotating thematic exhibitions of instruments from the Ethno Instrument Collection.
4th Floor – Main Building
The 4th of Hamilton Library (Main) is the location of the Asia Collection reference desk for research help. The Asia and East Asia print reference and current periodicals along with the Asia book stacks (A-HZ) are here. There are large tables for group study and study carrels along the walls for individual study.
3rd Floor – Addition
The 3rd Floor of Hamilton Library (Addition) includes the book stacks (QE-RC).
3rd Floor – Main Building
The 3rd Floor of Hamilton Library (Main) includes Asia book stacks (J-Z), and East Asia book stacks (A-Z). There are large tables for group study and individual study carrels along the windows.
2nd Floor – Addition
The 2nd Floor of Hamilton Library (Addition) includes Hamilton bookstacks (QB – QD). There are both individual study carrels and large tables for group study.
2nd Floor – Main Building
The 2nd Floor of Hamilton Library (Main) includes the Hamilton book stacks (A-PZ). There are individual study carrels throughout the 2nd Floor along with some larger tables.
1st Floor – Addition
The 1st Floor of Hamilton Library (Addition) includes the Science & Technology Reference Desk and Hamilton bookstacks (Q-QA). There are individual and group study areas.
