The World of Miniature Books

July 31, 2017-September 29, 2017
Location: Elevator Gallery
Come take a look at some amazing miniature books from our collection. Miniature books are generally less than 75-80mm, or less than 3 inches. Small cuneiform tablets from BCE 4,000 are considered the first miniature books. Today's miniatures are often created by calligraphers, printers, and book artists to demonstrate their skills and expertise. Stop by and check out this fascinating display in the Elevator Gallery on the first floor of Hamilton Library.
