Hamilton Library is honored to be one of the hosts of Hoʻomana (Empower), the 18th installment of Kūkulu, a traveling art installation in honor of the pillars of Mauna Kea who stand for the protection of the tallest mountain in the world (from the sea floor). Hamilton's bridge gallery is hosting gifts, offerings, art pieces and photographs inspired by the sacred mountain of Mauna a Wākea. Other portions of the exhibit can be found at Hemenway Hall (till June 30th), the Art Commons Gallery (till July 31st), and Native Hawaiian Student Services in the Queen Liliʻuokalani Center for student services. On Sunday, July 14, guided tours will be given of the exhibition between 12-3pm.
