To commemorate 100 years of Chinese studies at the University of Hawai‘i, Mānoa, this online exhibit focuses on the first fifty years (1920-1970), highlighting the evolution of academic units, the contributions of faculty, and the creation of our library collection. Jointly presented by Shana Brown, Associate Professor of History Department, Song Jiang, Associate Professor of Chinese Language and Linguistics, and Dongyun Ni, Chinese Studies Librarian of the UHM Library, we welcome your comments, questions, and suggestions, and hope that former students and UH faculty will share memories and contribute materials.
