The exhibition is a collaborative project of the Nagasaki and the Hiroshima Atomic Bomb Museums, which the Matsunaga Institute for Peace and Hamilton Library are proud to bring to you. With President Putin of Russia Threatening nuclear devastation in the Ukraine, learning about and working to Build a Nuclear Free World has never been more timely.Building a Nuclear Free world continues the Matsunaga Institute’s long engagement with public outreach on the nuclear threat.Beginning in 1995 for the fiftieth anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, an exhibition, 50 Years with the Bomb, at the School of Architecture. Since then, the exhibition has been updated and mounted in Hamilton Library and elsewhere, most recently in the Kapiolani Community College Library in 2018. This exhibition features important documents, photographs, and memorabilia from Spark Matsunagaʻs 28 years in Congress.
