The Center for Japanese Studies hosted a graduate student mixer on January 30, 2025 at Tokioka Room (Moore 319). This fun and informal mixer brought together over 25 graduate students from various departments at UH Mānoa who are interested in Japanese-related studies. Both familiar faces and new attendees enjoyed connecting with peers and discussing their shared interests. CJS Director Levin provided an overview of the Center’s activities and highlighted available scholarships, travel grants, and other resources related to Japanese studies.
The CJS Graduate Student Mixer, which takes place once a semester, aims to foster connections and networking opportunities for graduate students with interest in Japanese Studies at UH Mānoa. We look forward to more events like this in the future!
