Kaitlyn Iwashita wins 1st Place for A&H Research, Honors / UROP Showcase

Congratulations to Kaitlyn Iwashita for winning the First Place Prize for Arts and Humanities Research at the Spring Honors/UROP Showcase on Friday, May 6! Kaitlyn delivered her paper, “One False Note: the Case of Billy Tipton and America’s Reactions to Transgender Individuals in the 1980s and 1990s,” which she also delivered at the PAT National conference in Orlando Florida in January, courtesy of UROP.
