Jacob is the current Professional Standards Manager for the UHM Department of Public Safety and brings over 10 years of experience in safety, security, and emergency management. He serves as the department’s accreditation manager ensuring that DPS maintains its accreditation status with the Commission for Accreditation on Law Enforcement Agencies. In addition to that, Jacob is also responsible for hiring of the officer and other APT positions within the department. Jacob has decided to serve on the Staff Senate as he has served on other Staff Senates at the other UH community colleges and believes in shared governance. In his spare time, he enjoys trying out new food places on the island and traveling all over with his wife.
