Carol is a University of Hawaiʻi, Mānoa alumni and started her University of Hawaiʻi career as a student assistant. She has worked at the university since 2004 in molecular genetic research, outreach and STEM education, and academic and student affairs. As of recently, Carol is splitting her time between the CTAHR Dean’s Office and the Academic and Student Affairs Office. One of her current roles is building the CTAHR Shared Services unit, which works to simplify fiscal processes for the faculty, staff, and students of various CTAHR departments to improve services and increase work efficiency. During her free time, Carol loves being a wife and mother; during the weekends, you can find her shuffling her two children from activity to activity. This is Carol’s first year in the Mānoa Staff Senate, and she would like to use her university experience to serve as a voice for all university constituents.
