Instructional designer with over 5 years of experience working in higher education. Currently, at the University of Hawaii: Outreach College, as an IT Specialist. Joseph supports the development of online courses. He works with faculty, instructors, students, and other stakeholders to foster positive learning experiences with empathy for users. He has been working in the field of education for his entire career of over 10 years. Josephʻs teaching experience includes all levels of education dealing with both local and international students in both public and private sectors. Joseph continues to encourage students to become self-directed, empowered, and active learners. Born and raised in Hawaii, Joseph is enrolled in the online LTEC Phd Program. His current research interest is online learning experiences and critical digital literacy.
