Gina was born and raised in Waimānalo. She is a Native Hawaiian mother of four and has worked as an administrator for John A. Burns School of Medicine for sixteen years. She enjoys working with diverse groups of people and building lasting relationships. As a new staff senator, she will continue fostering old and new relationships with faculty, staff, and students across the Mānoa campus. She is committed to learning from all sources and working together and in collaboration with leadership to improve UHM Staffʻs overall work environment. ʻAʻohe hana nui ke alu ʻia.
