Carlos Tomé teaches intermediate and advanced level Spanish courses in the department of Languages & Literatures of Europe & the Americas. Some of those courses include business Spanish, cultural perspectives of Spain, composition, reading and conversation classes. He is also in charge of the Credit by Exam committee.

Carlos has been part of the ETS (Educational Testing Service) Advanced Placement (AP) Spanish Test reading (i.e. assessment) team, both on site and Online since 2016. In 2013 he created and developed a study abroad immersion program for the Spanish Division in Salamanca, Spain. Carlos is a licensed court interpreter and a member of the Hawai’i Teachers Association.
