I am a Spanish Instructor in the Spanish Division of the Department of Languages of Europe and the Americas. I have a B.A. in Spanish, Sociology, Psychology and a M.A in Spanish from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Originally from Ilo, Peru. I have lived in Oahu since 2000 and I have been teaching at the University of Hawaii since 2008.
I am a Search Advocate for the University of Hawaii and participated as a mentor in the UH Mānoa Hānai Mentor program. I am a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish & Portuguese (AATSP), and the Hawai‘i Teachers Association (HALT).
