My professional trajectory is deeply influenced by my time as a Ph.D. in Performance Studies student in the UHM Theatre and Dance Department and member of the dance community. I honed skills in collaboration, resilience, and the ability to bridge cultural divides through artistic expression. These experiences continue to inform my teaching and creative practice, fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment for my students at Xi’an Fanyi University where I am now a faculty member.

My graduate study in Theatre Department at UHM has broadened my intellectual inquiry and fostered my personal growth. All the faculty members are so supportive and encouraging!
