The Minor in Theatre & Dance provides students from any major with the opportunity to engage in artistic practice, creative collaboration, and performance studies. Students may choose one of two concentrations:

Creative Computational Media (CCM) Certificate

The Creative Computational Media (CCM) Certificate prepares students to create innovative digital experiences at the intersection of art, design, storytelling, performance, and technology. Through interdisciplinary coursework and collaborative projects, students develop the technical and creative skills needed to thrive in emerging media industries.
The Department of Theatre & Dance brings embodied performance, choreography, digital storytelling, and new media into this interdisciplinary environment. Dance students can explore how movement, performance, and technology intersect through screen dance, interactive media, immersive performance, motion-based technologies, digital choreography, and new media theatre and dance. These experiences expand traditional approaches to performance while preparing students to work across creative, technological, and artistic fields.
