The CJS Bento Box series returned on Thursday, October 12, 2023 with presentations from Brandon Marc Higa, S.J.D. candidate at the William S. Richard School of Law, and Tokikake Ii, Ph.D. candidate at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Department of History.

Perhaps our most successful Bento Box to date, the Tokioka Room was filled to capacity with a captive audience of 30 guests, all of whom had a chance to enjoy bentos from Kokoro-tei.

Established in Spring 2022, the CJS Bento Box series is an opportunity for graduate students to present their academic work to an audience in a more informal setting that allows for discussion and open engagement (while also enjoying bentos!).
