Two Night Minimum

Conference Housing requests a two-night minimum for all reservations.

Non-UH Insurance Requirements

Groups (guests who are registering as a group, not individuals) that are not affiliated with UH must purchase and provide proof of liability insurance before their stay. Recommended insurance provisions can be found here: https://www.hawaii.edu/offices/risk-management/insurance/#thirdparty. Certificates of Insurance (COI) should be submitted to UH a few weeks in advance of arrival.

Cancellation Policy

Please email us as soon as possible so we can start the cancellation process. If the cancellation is after the reservation deposit and/or final payment due date, there is a cancellation fee. Please contact our office for exceptions and updates related to COVID-19.

Minors

Groups with minors must complete a ‘Medical Release Form’ prior to staying with us. All conference groups with minors (age 17 and below) must have a minor to chaperone ratio of 10:1 to reside in our facilities. Please indicate which members of your group are chaperones on your roster forms.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or any area in Conference Housing facilities. UH Mānoa is a smoke-free campus.

Alcohol

All Conference guests over the age of 21 may consume alcoholic beverages in their unit only if all persons in the unit are at least 21 years of age. Possession or consumption of alcoholic beverages in any public areas is prohibited. Violators could face immediate eviction from Conference Housing.

Fire Safety Equipment

Each room is equipped with fire sprinklers and a smoke detector. Evacuation routes are posted on the back of all unit doors; please familiarize your self with the routes upon arrival. Any conference guests who tamper with or remove fire sprinklers, fire extinguishers, or smoke detectors could face immediate eviction from Conference Housing.
