PAT “Pacific Perspectives” Biennial Convention Presentations
Three of our PAT-ABE students will be participating virtually in this year’s PAT National Biennial Conference! Their presentations will be on Friday, January 3rd, from 10:00am HST until 11:15am HST.
The names and presentation titles are as follows:
- Peter Bushell, “Tarnished Legacy: British Post-WWII War Crimes Trials & the Case of Erich von Manstein”
- Christopher Wren, “The Climatic Origins of Medieval and Early Modern Italian Capitalism, Part II”
- Terri-Lee Bixby, “Siapo Overseas: Trading Culture and Commodities in the Pacific”
Our advisor, Professor Karen Jolly, will be facilitating as panel chair along with Professor Timothy Bourdeau of the University of South Florida.
Here is the Zoom information for those of you who are interested in virtually attending:

- Meeting ID: 897 8187 4454
Please ensure your microphone is muted upon entering the room and throughout the panel.
If you are on campus and would like to watch the presentations in person, we reserved the main conference room, Sakamaki A201, for this event. There will be a Q&A portion after the presentations for audience members to engage with the presenters.
For those who ultimately cannot make this event, PAT National will be recording the session and sharing it with us afterwards. Keep an eye out for the recording after the Biennial’s conclusion!
A copy of the conference program can be found at the link here.
(We also want to shout out Aldinette Lockett, who will be presenting in person at the Biennial in Washington, D.C. Go get ’em, Aldinette!)
