2019 Update: Hawaiʻi to Zero HIV Cure and Prevention Efforts

On January 10, the Hawaiʻi Center for AIDS, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaiʻi – Manoa in co-sponsorship with the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health will hold the 4th Hawaiʻi to Zero HIV Prevention and Cure Conference at the Ala Moana Hotel, Hibiscus Ballroom. It will be a full day event featuring national HIV prevention leaders speaking on PrEP and the role of stigma in the HIV epidemic. The DOH will unveil their new strategic goals and plans for HIV prevention in Hawaiʻi. The cure agenda will focus on the “industry perspective on HIV cure” with thought leaders from key pharmaceutical companies (ViiV, Gilead, Merck, BMS and Altor/NantKwest) presenting their views on how their companies are approaching this issue.
