MFA
Below is an overview of general Graduate Division requirements for the MFA program. Graduate programs may have additional requirements, contact the program for details.
| Requirement | Description |

| Total Credit Requirements | Generally, a minimum of 30 credits is required. The MFA may be offered under either Plan A (thesis) or Plan B (non-thesis). |
| Credits for Courses Numbered 600 or Above | A minimum of 30 credits must be for courses at the 600 level and above. All other courses must be at the 300 level and above. |
| Culminating Experience | In general, a major performance, project or exhibition is required near the completion of the degree program. |
