Culminating Assignments for Assessment and Learning Improvement

This workshop is co-sponsored by the Assessment and Curriculum Support Center and College of Social Sciences Online Programs.

Culminating assignments can come at the end of unit, a semester, or a degree program. In this interactive online workshop, instructional faculty and staff use assignment design principles, examples of excellent assignments, and an assignment design template to design or revise their culminating assignments so that they can serve as a meaningful and efficient assessment tool for the ultimate purpose of improving student learning.

Who should attend: instructional faculty/staff in Social Sciences. However, all faculty are invited;  the general principles are applicable to all fields.
