The learning evidence submitted for scoring by the AAC&U-trained scorers includes 100 student assignments (or artifacts) from nine courses taught by seven University of Hawaii at Manoa faculty members. The result showed that at least 85% of the scorable artifacts meet Milestone 2 (scoring a 2 out of 4) on each evaluation criterion, as labeled in the chart below. Very few artifacts (0 to 5%) achieved the Capstone level (scoring a 4 out of 4). About one-third of the assignments were deemed unscorable because the assignments did not solicit students’ responses or performance for the target criterion. See the result summary in the chart below. The team plan to disaggregate the results based on students’ demographics and course characteristics.
