2020 Assessment Leadership Institute

This year’s Assessment Leadership Institute will be conducted online from August 11 to 14, 2020 (Tuesday to Friday).

A sample daily schedule is as follows:

  • 8:30 – 10:00 Offline individual learning: material review, completing assignments
  • 10:00 – 12:30 Whole group Zoom meetings
  • 12:30 – 1:30 Offline lunch on your own (11:30-12:30 lunch on 8/14)
  • 1:30 – 3:30: Whole group meeting and small group activities

COVID-19 & the Institute

Regrettably, we have postponed the May 2020 Assessment Leadership Institute. The new date has not been determined.

Any accepted applicant will be able to attend a future Institute.

Submit an application via SurveyMonkey. We recommend completing the application questions offline (Google Doc Application Worksheet) and then copying information into the online application. Note: only completed applications submitted via SurveyMonkey will be reviewed.

Eligibility

  1. Faculty or staff member in an academic degree program and can contribute to curriculum decisions
  2. Plan to contribute to program- or institution-level learning assessment.
  3. Individuals or teams of 2-3 people

Application Deadline & Fees

Deadline: March 30, 2020

Applicants will receive notification by April 30, 2020.

Fees: $900 per person; fee waived for UH Mānoa faculty/staff with endorsement from Dean
