Federally sponsored national and international service opportunities offer great post-graduation options.

AmeriCorps is a network of national service programs, made up of three primary programs (AmeriCorps VISTA, AmeriCorps NCCC, AmeriCorps State and National). Each program takes a different approach to improving lives and fostering civic engagement. Members make a full-time commitment for one year to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters, and more. Service through AmeriCorps offers a variety of service opportunities in each of the 50 states and U.S. territories.

Peace Corps is a service opportunity for motivated changemakers to immerse themselves in a community abroad, working side by side with local leaders to tackle the most pressing challenges of our generation.
