Description:
The UHM Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Scholarship (OVPRS) would like to invite you to the Faculty Forum hosting the EU Science Counsellor to Hawaii Dr. Bernard. Dr. Bernard is Counsellor for Research and Innovation, Delegation of the European Union to the United States. He will discuss the new EU Research and Innovation Program 2021 –27 entitled “Horizon Europe”.
Horizon Europe Five Missions Areas are:
- Adaptation to climate change including societal transformation,
- Healthy oceans, seas, coastal & inland waters
- Climate-neutral & smart cities,
- Cancer,
- Soil health & food
