Description:
This hands-on workshop aims to demystify the federal funding process by encouraging researchers to view their work through the lens of the relevant funding agency. Rather than asking, “how can I seek funds to support my research?”, we instead ask, “How can I support the goals of the funding agency?” Such an approach need not be viewed as a sellout. Your research is clearly valuable; the key is to show the funder how your research will support their mission and goals. Whether you are an early-career researcher or seasoned scholar, this workshop will provide useful tips for creating successful funding applications.
