Daily Manaʻo for Cohort Kumukahi August 2024 – Thursday

This morning, I had the opportunity and great pleasure to participate in a Pilina Circle with the lovely co-facilitators Siobhán and Kristin. Mahalo to our other co-facilitators for the day: Kawehi and Nick, and Katey and Dr. Ideta. Truly everyone’s magic shines on this day! 

The cohort participants were really shining today as well, and we had a lively discussion following Candace Fujikane’s talk, in which we are always so grateful to hear from her and ask away with all our questions. From this talk in particular, our team really enjoyed her invitation to use nonviolent words and terms in our everyday speech—instead of saying “Boom!” to emphasize a point or mic-drop a moment, she suggests instead to say “Bloom!”
