Hannah Schauer received her MFA in Directing from UH, Mānoa, where she is currently the Costume Shop Manager for the Department of Theatre and Dance. Along with designing and coordinating costumes for productions at UH, she has designed for local productions at Hawaiʻi Pacific University, Hawaiʻi Theatre, Manoa Valley Theatre, and ʻIolani High School. She also has training in the dressing and hairstyling of several traditional Asian Theatre practices and acts as the coordinator for the department’s Asian Theatre productions. She has recently directed productions for The Actors Group, Mānoa Valley Theatre, AWS, and Hawaiʻi Repertory Theatre. She has recently appeared on the stage for AWS, TAG, and Hawaiʻi Rep. Hannah previously served as the Associate Artistic Director for All the World’s a Stage Theatre Company and as a board member for the Hawaiʻi State Theatre Council.
