Jessica L. Jacob

UHM alumna Jessica Jacob (MFA 2006) returned to UHM to fill the position of Theatre Manager/Public Information in 2015. Prior to that, she was the Executive and Artistic Director for Alaska Theatre of Youth (ATY), an adjunct professor of acting, stage combat and aerial arts at University of Alaska Anchorage, and a stage combat choreographer (and aerialist) state-wide. She directed mainstage shows for UAA Theatre & Dance, ATY, and in commercial/community theatre. Her other posts in arts administration include the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra and the Alaska State Council on the Arts’ Arts in Education and Artists in Schools programs. She served as a Board Member of the Hawai’i State Theatre Council for eight years and has served as a Board Member and Circuit Coordinator representing the Pacific Islands circuit of Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region 8.
