THEA 278B Theatre for Young Audiences Devising
Alvin is an actor, playwright, director, and designer from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. He has worked as an actor and director in New York, Washington DC, and Japan, and was an artistic associate at the Honolulu Theatre for Youth from 2011 – 2018. Alvin is a former recipient of Theatre Communications Group’s Fox Acting Fellowship. He holds a BA in theatre from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and his MFA from Northwestern University’s Directing program. Previous teaching experience includes teaching Fundamentals of Stage Directing at Northwestern University, as well as teaching artist work with HTY & also in NYC with the Judith Shakespeare Company.
