Paid Summer Internship: Pacific Forum

The UH Mānoa Indo-Pacific Affairs Initiative is offering funding to support internships during Summer 2023. Apply to receive a $4,000 stipend and work at one of these exciting organizations! Pacific Forum

Pacific Forum is a non-profit, foreign policy research institute in Honolulu that examines political, security, economic and business issues and facilitates dialogue in the Indo-Pacific with the region’s academic, government, and corporate leaders. Interns assist with formatting and designing publications, video editing, social media, and database entry. They will have access to local Pacific Forum events, and they may also choose to write something for publication by Pacific Forum.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current UHM undergraduate or graduate student (cannot graduate before Summer 2023)
  • Physically located on Oahu for the duration of the internship
  • Utmost integrity and discretion when handling personal identifying information

Desirable Qualifications: 

  • Able to use MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Outlook effectively
  • Experience with formatting and/or copyediting
  • Familiarity with Canva, Mailchimp, and any type of video editing software
  • Strong attention to detail

Time Commitment:

  • 10 hrs/wk for 15 weeks
