What is the Common Read Lecture Series?
Out-of-class lectures regarding the text, “The Great Influenza" and its relevant themes will be conducted throughout the semester. These informative sessions will be accessible to all students in the Common Read. This will give students an opportunity to meet others in the program and engage in academic discussions surrounding the book’s content. Students are encouraged to submit questions in advance to reading@hawaii.edu for the speaker series.
→ Due to COVID-19, all lecture series will be held virtually. Recordings of the lectures will be posted below.
