The SAPFB, also known as the Student Activity and Program Fee Board, is the governing body that financially supports co-curricular programs and organizations associated with the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. These groups include, but are not limited to:
- Registered Student Organizations (RIO’s)
- UH Mānoa Departments and Programs
- UH Mānoa Affiliated Groups
Established by the Board of Regents in 1982, SAPFB is one of five Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs) at UH Mānoa and receives its funding from an activity fee assessed to each student: $12.00 per semester and $5.00 per summer session
These fees are pooled together to create our SAPFB fund that groups may apply their event to be funded with. These events may include, but are not limited to:
- Co-curricular activities
- Extra-curricular activities
- Disability services within SAPFB-funded events
