Funding Hearing Sign-ups Now Open

All groups that applied for Fall 2024 funding were emailed earlier today, March 25, regarding funding hearing sign-ups. The deadline to sign up for a slot is Monday, April 8, 11:59 p.m., HST. All funding hearings will be conducted online via Zoom. Upon selecting a time slot, the SAPFB office will email you a unique Zoom meeting room URL within 24-48 hours.

Funding hearings are ONLY required for event requests greater than or equal to $1,500 (Macro Event Request). However, groups who still wish to attend a funding hearing with the SAPFB Board may do so. Groups that have submitted Macro Event Requests but do not sign up or attend a funding hearing will be considered for funds not exceeding $1,500 per event. Therefore, we strongly encourage groups to sign up as soon as possible to ensure their applications are fully considered.

What to expect during your 15-minute hearing if you only have ONE event:

  • 5 minutes to present your submitted PowerPoint
  • 5 minutes for Q&A with board members
  • 5 minutes set up/next group to come in
  • You WILL NOT get more than 5 minutes to present, even if there is leftover time

What to expect during your 15-minute hearing if you have MORE THAN ONE event:

  • 10 minutes to present your submitted PowerPoint presentation
  • 5 minutes for Q&A with board members
