Mānoa Green Days: Reduced campus operations during spring break

In support of continuing efforts to reduce energy consumption and operating costs, the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa will be reducing or suspending operations on non-instructional days from March 27-30, 2012.
 

All offices will be closed on Monday, March 26, in observance of Prince Kūhiō Day, which is a state holiday.

 
CAMPUS SERVICES:
Rainbow Shuttle:
March 26–30: No shuttle service
April 2: Regular service resumes
 
Parking Office in QLC:
March 26–30: Closed. 
Call 956-9290, in case of emergency.

FOOD SERVICES
See http://www.manoa.hawaii.edu/food for Food Services vendors open between March 27–30.
(Please check with Campus Center and Student Housing regarding other dining locations.) 
 
MAIL SERVICES
March 26-30: No deliveries to or mail pickup from departments.
March 26: Mailroom closed in observance of Kūhiō Day.
March 27-30: Campus Mailroom open for walk-ins 10:45 a.m.–4:25 p.m.

March 24: OPEN 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
March 26–March 31: Closed.
 
Security Officers will be on regular patrol; in case of emergency, call 956-6911 or use one of the Emergency Call Boxes located throughout campus. 
 
Your Campus Security team would also like to remind you to secure offices and residence hall rooms before you leave for the week. Lock doors and windows. Back up computer data.
 
Finally, if you find yourself alone on campus after dusk and need to get to another University facility, call for a Security Escort: 956-SAFE.
 
CAMPUS CENTER:
Services and programs from the Office of Student Life and Development which is situated at the Campus Center Complex and makai campus at the Athletic Complex will be limited during spring break (March 24-April 1). 
 
Subway Sandwiches will open daily from 9 a.m.–3 p.m., except for the March 26 state holiday
 
American Savings bank will be open Tuesday, March 27 through Friday, March 30 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
 
UH Federal Credit Union Campus Center Branch will be open Tuesday, March 27 through March 30 from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.

UH MĀNOA LIBRARIES:
Both Hamilton Library and Sinclair Library will be closed for Spring Break from Saturday, March 24- Saturday, March 31, 2012.
 
No services will be available during the Spring Recess, so please plan ahead and borrow all books by closing time at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23.
Those who need help in finding those resources ahead of time are encouraged to ask the librarians for assistance.
Books that are due during the recess can be returned to the outside book return/drop boxes.
