I am an Instructor of German Language in the Department of Languages and Literatures of Europe and the Americas. In addition, I am also a Program Coordinator for German 201-202 and the German Club Organizer.

I regularly teach German 101, 102, 201,202, German 303 – Reading and Writing / WI, and German 362 – Modern German Civilization / O. My teaching philosophy is based on creating and maintaining a learning environment in which students feel supported and motivated to learn. I employ a student-centered approach, using a variety of interactive activities to foster communication skills. I strongly emphasize the cultural aspect of language.

As the German Club Organizer I offer a variety of German Club activities for example: gathering for German conversation – “Kaffeestunde”, Screening of German movies, Holiday Party with German traditional food and caroling, Celebration of the German National Day. For my work, I have been awarded the HALT Excellence in Teaching Award (2019) and I am also an Honorary Member of the Delta Phi Alpha, National German Honorary Society.
