Car Rental
Many car rental companies provide discounted rates in Honolulu Airport. Please make sure that you shop around before you finalize your car reservation. Similar to prior years, Hertz has granted HARC a special discount rate (TBD) for your consideration. Please go to Hertz.com and follow these steps to receive special rates:
- Choose the “Add a Discount Code” when hertz.com loads.
- Enter the discount code — the HARC 2026 code will be provided by October 2025.
- Enter your dates and location (Honolulu International Airport).
- You should see the rates for different types of vehicles.
Parking
UHM has installed the pay-for-parking installs. It costs $3 per half hour on the Shidler side of campus. You can pay by credit card using the JustPark App.
Please ensure that you park in the designated Green Stalls. The number of stalls is limited, but since classes are not in session, one will be able to easily find parking spaces.
