Dr. Chapman, a four-time Fulbright Scholar, is pleased to serve as a resource for international Fulbright faculty and scholars coming to UH Mānoa to conduct research. He can provide general advice, share his experiences with the Fulbright program, and offer guidance to help visiting Fulbright scholars navigate their academic and research experience at UH Mānoa. However, Dr. Chapman does not serve in an administrative or official support capacity for Fulbright Scholars. He is not responsible for assisting with visa applications or immigration matters, arranging housing, coordinating travel, completing university administrative requirements, or providing other logistical support associated with a scholar's appointment or stay at UH Mānoa. Visiting Fulbright scholars should continue to work directly with their Fulbright program contacts and the appropriate UH Mānoa offices or sponsoring academic units for immigration, appointment, housing, and other administrative matters. Dr. Chapman's role is intended to be that of an informal faculty resource and mentor, particularly for scholars who may benefit from his extensive Fulbright experience and knowledge of UH Mānoa.
