Environmental Law Society Hike to Puʻu Pia

On March 16, 2019, the Environmental Law Society (ELS) coordinated a Sierra Club hike to Puʻu Pia in Mānoa Valley. Randy Ching led a group of students, faculty, friends, and visiting scholars along the scenic Mānoa valley hike. Along the way, Randy discussed native plants, invasive species, and issues facing Hawaiʻi’s trails.  Randy shared his insights on numerous ways to get involved in caring for Hawaiʻi’s trails. The hike provided an excellent opportunity for students, faculty, and friends to enjoy a morning in nature and get to know each other. Stay tuned for the Environmental Law Society’s next hike.
