ELS Joins Surfrider: Beach Clean Up at Kahuku!

On November 9, 2019, the Environmental Law Society (ELS) rallied law students to join Surfrider’s beach clean up at Kahuku Beach at the James Campbell Wildlife Refuge. In addition to ELS, over a hundred people turned out to pick up trash and help clean up one of the island’s dirtiest beaches. According to Surfrider, this was the most volunteers they’ve had to date for this event.

Mahalo to Dean Antolini and the law students who were able to join us and a huge thank you to Surfrider’s Oahu Chapter, particularly Stuart Coleman and Doorae Shin, for organizing the event. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next event.
