On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, the Environmental Law Program hosted a Clean Energy Law and Policy Talk-Story with Representative Chris Hansen, Colorado House District 6. Representative Hansen talked with students, faculty, and community members about the energy policy landscape, the future of sustainable energy, and recent clean energy legislation enacted in Colorado.

The talk included an explanation of the Colorado Climate Action Plan – HB 19-1261, emission reduction goals, beneficial electrification, transportation impacts, and Representative Hansen’s projection of future changes in transportation. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students, faculty, and members of the community to engage in a lively discussion on clean energy law and policy.
