Wounded Warrior Camp June 13-18, 2021
Hawaii 4-H Military Partnership hosted a week long summer camp for youth of Wounded Warriors. We were able to provide camp through a grant from the US Army. Our week was focused on getting out of our comfort zones for a week of adventure as well as Malama. We had a great time at YMCA Camp Erdman where we enjoyed camp activities including a camp out,beach tug of war, swimming, hiking and climbing the Alpine Tower. We also enjoyed 4-H healthy living activities to build skills in health and wellness. Youth were given life long tools to have a healthy life which included journaling, yoga, goal setting, service learning and more.
Hawaii 4-H Military Partnership will host this camp again next year. Stay tuned for more information.
