The Honolulu Museum of Art is kicking off the new year “with a selection of vibrant creative films from South Asia and the South Asian diaspora that are guaranteed to make you laugh, cry, and dance! See six new films from South Asia and the diaspora alongside a Satyajit Ray classic” with a live performance finale of Vaari by talented local dancers.

As the grand finale of the Bollywood and South Asian Film Festival, Doris Duke Theater is excited to bring you a live dance concert – Vaari – a spectacular evening of Indian classical, folk, and Bollywood performances, rhythms and choreographies from around the world, vocals, instrumentals, and much more! Brought to you by Sai Bhatawadekar and her team of talented dancers, musicians, and guest artists. Start your year with joy…smiling, singing, clapping, and dancing along!
