Meghan McGurk is a project coordinator on the Hawai‘i State Department of Health’s Healthy Hawai‘i Initiative (HHI) Evaluation Team, conducting evaluation research on physical activity and nutrition projects within the community under Project Investigator, Dr. Jay Maddock. Projects she evaluates include the Hawai‘i State Physical Activity and Nutrition Plan 2007-2013, the Obesity Prevention Task Force, the Baby-Friendly Hawai‘i Project, and the Choose Healthy Now! Healthy Vending Project, all statewide efforts to improve the health of Hawai‘i’s people.
