Veronica serves as the Scientific Coordinator for the Thompson School Registry Hub of the Red Hill Registry. In this role, she supports epidemiological research and public health surveillance initiatives that assess potential health outcomes of the 2021 jet fuel release at the Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. She also serves as an Editor for the Hawaiʻi Journal of Health & Social Welfare.
Prior to her current role, she contributed to public health workforce initiatives with the Catalyst Lab. Her background spans environmental health research, as well as programmatic work with community and state-level health organizations to strengthen public health capacity and promote community health.
