Joseph is an instructional designer who supports public health workforce activities, initiatives, and pathways in close partnership with the Hawai‘i Department of Health (DOH) and other stakeholders. He participates in curriculum development activities, including video content for training modules. He also helps organize and promote public health workshops and events on topics relating to workforce pathways including preparing for internships, academic success strategies, and career fairs. Joseph has experience developing online courses (synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid). He has worked with faculty, instructors, students, and other stakeholders to foster positive learning environments with empathy for users' experience. He currently helps support education and knowledge development in areas of shared interest with the state, including around health equity and chronic disease.
